ROVC, the technical training institute has had a turbulent year in 2018. In December, the company was awarded the ‘Trainer of the Year’ title; having been burned to the ground just a few months earlier by a devastating fire.
Since then, ROVC has opened a brand new TechCenter at Bonnetstraat 38 in Ede. Every year, more than 13,000 people attend training courses given by this market leader in technology. ROVC also organizes in-company training courses. The TechCenter is the beating heart of ROVC, as this is where students gain their experience and hands-on training with all the various practical installations.
Decisive action
Thanks to the decisive action of teachers and businesses, almost all the courses and exams were able to continue following the fire. Teachers moved to temporary locations before the brand new TechCenter was brought into use. Industry and trade associations donated new technical equipment. Carlo Boelen, Senior Product Manager at ROVC, is proud of the resilience shown by the company: “The fact that we were able to continue to run courses after the fire illustrates the trust and cooperation we received from our customers”.
High-quality teaching materials
